DHI Challenge proves to be an exciting competitive event
A big audience enjoyed some top class dressage from 4 and 5 year olds at the 2009 DHI Challenge held at Addington Manor with 4 horses previously sold by us in the Brightwells auction being placed in the top 11 placings.
Warmest congratulations go to Ruth Edge and Zero who narrowly beat our own VSH Florenciano who was purchased from us by Carolyn Mellor last November. This horse is now winning in Ireland and already has his own fan club!!
Zermatt (previously DHI Jethro) owned by Sally Hesketh and Debbie Halstead was ridden into a very creditable 5th place by Ulrik Molgaard.
DHI Alladin who showed super uphill paces owned by Sue Carson and ridden by Isla Bennett finished 9th and our challenge prize fund horse DHI Appart O who was auctioned in August performed beautifully for a very nervous Stacey Read to take the 11th position.
DHI are pleased to announce continued support of the Challenge in 2010 and introduce Stal Bekelaar as joint sponsors.....together we aim to make the event Bigger and Better!!
We would also like to extend our warm thanks to Carl Hester and Judy Harvey who judged the class in a very informative,enthusiastic and encouraging style..everyone enjoyed listening to their constructive comments.
Also thank you to Richard Botterill and the Brightwells team who without their hardwork this event would not take place.... ...We look forward to 2010!!
